]]> We are excited to have been selected as a presenter at the upcoming Common Field Convening, which will be held here in Houston in April 2020. Common Field is a national organization of independent arts organizations and organizers, which connects, supports, and advocates for independent artists.  Our workshop will use small group dialogue to confront racism in the arts by educating artists, arts organizers and administrators about how racism shows up in the arts and empowering them to create more diversity, equity, and inclusion in their work. Registration for the Convening along with the full event schedule will be released in February online here: Convening 2020 / Common Field.  Kudos to our new board member Kelly Johnson for connecting us to this event.
