Please join us for a presentation by Kristian Caballero about community organizing and coalition building around gentrification and fair housing.  A dialogue will follow.   This presentation is inspired by the work of the Houston Coalition for Equitable Development without Displacement, whose mission is to secure a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with Rice Management Company as they develop the Innovation District on the edge of Third Ward.

Kristian Caballero is the Community Outreach Coordinator of Texas Appleseed, who helps to develop partnerships to engage, activate and empower the community to create social change. She is an expert in community engagement, diversity outreach, grassroots organizing, coalition building, advocacy, and campaign strategy.
