Tim Wise

Tim Wise is among the nation’s most prominent anti-racism educators and writers. Since 1995, he has spoken on over 1000 college and high school campuses and to community groups across the country. He is the author of 7 books on race and racism, including his highly-acclaimed memoir, White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son, and Dear White America: Letter to a New Minority.

S.H.A.P.E. Community Center

S.H.A.P.E. (Self-Help for African People through Education) for 50 years in improving the quality of life for children, family and the community.

Maya Ford

Individual Initiative for her courage to stand – or should she sit in silence alone in the parking lot of the detention center for children and families.
