2009 Living Library Preparation
The Center for the Healing of Racism in partnership with the City of Houston Downtown Library took part in “The Living Library”, a mobile library set up as a space for dialogue and interaction. Visitors to the Living Library were given the opportunity to speak informally with “people on loan.” The Living Library enabled groups to break stereotypes by challenging the most common prejudices in a positive and humorous manner.
